What we do with what you send us.
Short version: the demo form is the only thing on this site that collects anything, we use it to reply to you, and it goes nowhere else.
What we collect
Only what you type into the demo form: your name, email address, and optionally your business name, phone number, where you are up to and a message. We also store a one-way hash of your IP address and your browser's user-agent string with the enquiry, to make spam easier to spot. We do not store your IP address itself.
Why, and on what basis
To answer you and arrange a demo. That is our legitimate interest in responding to someone who has asked us to get in touch, and yours in getting a reply. We do not add you to a mailing list, and there is no marketing to opt out of because there is none.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to. The only third-party request a page makes is to Google Fonts, which serves the two typefaces the site uses.
Who else sees it
The site runs on our own server in the UK. Three suppliers are involved in getting your enquiry to us:
- Bunny.net — the CDN in front of the site, which sees the request itself.
- Postmark — sends the notification email to us when you submit the form.
- Migadu — hosts the mailbox that notification lands in.
Nobody else. We do not sell or share enquiry data, and there is no advertising network involved in this site at all.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept while we are talking to you and for up to 24 months afterwards, so we know who we have spoken to and what was said. Ask us to delete yours sooner and we will.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@beavercomps.com and we will deal with it. If you are in the UK and you are not happy with how we have handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
